The Cayuga Vocal Ensemble periodically holds auditions to fill vacancies in the membership, or to augment our list of substitute singers, who may be engaged to sing for a single concert when a permanent member cannot participate.

Auditions consist of:

• a prepared art song (accompanist supplied, or you may bring
  your own - please bring a copy for yourself and one for the
  accompanist.)
• a prepared choral selection
• aural response to played material
• sight reading
• intonation response (singing an interval below or above played or sung pitch)
