Spring Writes: A Civil War Commemoration: In commemoration of the 150th Anniversary of the events that brought about the end of the Civil War, this program of song and spoken word will bring to life the spirit of the time with many local connections. County Historian Carol Kammen will be our guest reader, reading from contemporary letters of Tompkins County residents. Featured on the program will be Jeffry Van’s A Procession Winding Around Me, with guitarist Kenneth Meyer, as well as songs of Stephen Foster. Kerry Mizrahi will be at the piano.
